Inside the Community Centre
This is more than a building. It's a new beginning.
Somewhere For Her To Go.
While crisis and frontline Domestic and Family Violence services exist on the Sunshine Coast, Somewhere To Go is creating a unique community-based recovery space focused on the long-term rebuilding phase after separation.
Here, you'll find a place that was built just for you. Somewhere safe to land, to breathe and to begin again. Surrounded by people who understand and who are here to walk alongside you.
We are now open. You can find us Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 10am – 2pm.
You don't have to walk this journey alone.
A place designed around you.
Every room, every program, every part of this centre is being created with you in mind. Whether you need someone to talk to, somewhere to build new friendships with women who understand your journey, a safe space for your children, purpose build and delivered programs to set your up for success, access to therapies, practical assistance to get through the week or simply a warm room and a cup of coffee and a meal. You'll find it here.
