Leaving is only the beginning.
We’re what comes next.
Opening soon on the Sunshine Coast,
Somewhere To Go is creating a dedicated community centre
where women and children can rebuild after domestic violence.
1 in 4 women on the Sunshine Coast will experience domestic violence.
Most don’t know what to do after they leave.
That’s where we come in.
Somewhere To Go is not a crisis service.
We are what comes next.
What We’re Building
We are creating a safe, welcoming community centre where women and children can stabilise, rebuild, and move forward with support around them.
Through connection, practical assistance, education and trauma-informed programs, we help families regain confidence, strength and a sense of belonging.
Inside The Somewhere To Go Centre
Communal lounge for connection - Coffee space for belonging
Children’s Play Room - Therapy and Support Rooms
Education and Group Spaces - Outdoor connection and youth area
A place that doesn’t exist yet - but should.
THIS IS WHAT YOU’RE HELPING US TO BUILD
MAKE AN IMPACT TODAY
We are opening a dedicated community centre on the Sunshine Coast in the coming months - a place where women and children can rebuild after domestic violence.
Your support helps bring this space to life.
A place of safety.
A place of connection.
A place to rebuild.
DONATIONS OVER $2 ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE
Why This Matters
Leaving is the most dangerous time. But what comes after is the most unsupported.
Too many women are left to rebuild alone - navigating systems, finances, parenting and trauma without support or community.
We are changing that.
