Better together.
Because leaving is only the beginning.
OUR ETHOS
Somewhere To Go Foundation exists to change what happens after a woman leaves domestic and family violence.
Leaving is only the beginning. What comes next is often the most complex, isolating and unsupported part of the journey.
We believe healing is not a moment - it’s a process.
We believe no woman or child should have to rebuild alone.
And we believe real recovery happens through connection, community and practical support - not just survival.
OUR VISION
Our vision is a future where every woman and child leaving domestic and family violence has access to a safe, supportive community to rebuild their lives.
We are building the first Somewhere To Go Community Centre on the Sunshine Coast - with a long-term vision to expand across Australia.
Because no matter where a family lives, there should be somewhere to go.
OUR MISSION
We exist to bridge the gap between leaving and healing.
Somewhere To Go supports women and children in the post-crisis stage of domestic and family violence - the part that is often overlooked.
Through community, practical support, education and connection, we help families rebuild stability, confidence and a sense of belonging.
