Recycle For Us
Every container counts. Every container makes a difference.
Containers for Change Donations
Every bottle, can and carton you return puts 10 cents towards rebuilding a life on the Sunshine Coast. It costs you nothing but makes a difference in the lives of the women and children we support.
How It Works
1. Collect your eligible containers
Most aluminium cans, glass bottles, plastic bottles, juice boxes and flavoured milk containers between 150ml and 3L are eligible for a 10-cent refund. Look for the 10c refund mark on the container.
2. Return them using your preferred method
Depot - Walk in or drive through to get your containers counted and refunded on the spot. Best for large loads.
Bag Drop - Bag it, tag it, drop it. A simple, contact-free way to return your containers at various locations.
Reverse Vending Machine (RVM) - Insert containers one by one for scanning. Best for smaller returns.
Home Collection - A free collection service available in selected Queensland suburbs. Book online at containersforchange.com.au

Every Container Changes Something
100 Containers = $10
$10 helps stock the community pantry with essentials for women and children who arrive with very little.
200 Containers = $20
$20 helps provide a child with craft materials, books and activities in our children's space. Giving them somewhere safe to just be a kid.
500 Containers = $50
$50 contributes to the practical resources women need to begin rebuilding.
1000 Containers = $100
$100 helps keep the doors of Somewhere To Go open for another day, covering the daily costs of running a safe, welcoming centre.
